Florida Auto Shop Hit With Multiple Thefts

An auto shop in Bradenton, Florida was recently the victim of burglary after thieves stole 12 vehicles from the shop.

An auto shop in Bradenton, Florida was recently the victim of burglary after thieves stole 12 vehicles from the shop, WFLA reports.

The shop, located on the 700 block of 11th Avenue West, had multiple individuals break into the building sometime between 7 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. this past Sunday. The perpetrators found the keys to vehicles in the shop and took them.

A little later, around 12:20 P.M., two of the thieves were involved in a crash in the 700 block of 12th Avenue West. One vehicle caught fire while the other one overturned after colliding with the roof of a nearby home. 

Only one of the drivers was caught: a juvenile who has sustained serious injuries, but is expected to survive. The other driver escaped.

Nine of the vehicles have been recovered, including the two involved in the crash. The Bradenton Police Department is currently still looking for three vehicles: a 2021 white Jeep Wrangler, a 2021 black Audi Q7, and a 2023 black Toyota Camry.
