According to a press release, Elite Worldwide has announced its new owner: former VP of Operations Darrin Barney.
Former owners Bob and Karen Cooper decided on Barney as their successor for president and owner of Elite, which has been in business for over 32 years.
Barney has been a shop owner for more than 20 years alongside his brother. When they struggled to run their business, they partnered with Elite and received help from a coach.
“I believe in Elite and what we teach; I saw what it did for my family. I watched my life change and how it changed for my employees,” Barney stated. “So, when the opportunity came up for me to assume the role of President and CEO, I took it. I want to help those shop owners who were just like me.”
In his new position, Barney hopes to continue to help others the way he was through the company’s programs, including the Top Shop 360 Coaching Program, Pro Service Peer Group, Master's Service Advisor Course, and Fly With The Eagles Shop Management Course.
