Long-Awaited Connecticut VIOC Opens

A Valvoline location in Vernon, Connecticut is now finally being built after almost three years of it being delayed, reports local news source Patch.

Valvoline had acquired the former Mr. Sparkle car wash location in 2020, and posted a sign at the long-vacant parcel at 371 Talcottville Road advertising that a Valvoline facility would be coming soon.

Nothing more was heard about the location until September 2022, when construction finally began on the building, following regulatory approvals and planning with local zoning officials.

Now, over this past weekend, signs advertising the opening of the store along with special sales were posted along the front of the property.
