Midas has called on team members from across the U.S. and Canada to gather in Florida’s West Palm Beach area to provide resources for local students in need, according to a press release.

Midas staff in the area as well as those traveling from other Midas locations will gather in the Learning Center of TBC Headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens on September 11 to fill ‘911 backpacks’ with school supplies for Palm Beach County students.

The effort is part of an initiative from Midas’s parent company, TBC Corporation, called #DrivenToGive.

The initiative is part of a 65-year effort to encourage team members to become involved with helping the community as well as its support of national philanthropic programs.

The 911 backpacks will be equipped at TBC’s Palm Beach Gardens campus with the help of United Way before being disbursed to under-resourced families in Palm Beach County.
