Prestige Auto Spa NJ, based in Toms River, New Jersey, has expanded its oil change services to support European vehicles, according to a press release.
Located on 883 Fischer Blvd, Prestige Auto Spa offerings include car washes, quick oil changes, detailing, ceramic wrap, tinting, brake caliper painting, fleet accounts, tire rotation, battery replacement, and headlight restoration.
Having first opened on October 15, 2021, the business is entering its second year of operation with the adoption of high-grade Motul oil, allowing it to provide oil changes to European vehicles such as BMWs, Audis, Land/Range Rovers, and Volkswagens.
Prestige’s decision to widen its services was partly motivated by the difference in performance standards between European and domestic vehicles. According to the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association, a European engine can differ in design and operating conditions from those manufactured domestically, requiring a separate standard for lubrication processes.
All of Prestige’s technicians have experience in and are trained to work with European vehicles, spanning from oil changes to light mechanical work, told Operating Partner Jeff Kovatch.
“We understand that the community is looking for a local and cost-effective alternative to automotive dealerships for this service, and our team is happy to provide a solution,” said Kovatch.
