Mr. Oil Change, LLC, a mobile auto maintenance service based in North Carolina, will be offering discounts to members of Her Meetups, a local support group for mothers, according to a press release.
On the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Friday of each month, Mr. Oil Change will be on-site at Dog-Eared Coffee Company in Clemmons, North Carolina, where Her Meetups gatherings will be taking place. Attendees will be offered a $5 discount on any services performed there.
Additionally, Her Meetups attendees have the option to receive a group discount by booking an appointment at least 24 hours before their meetup. Six appointment slots are available for each event.
Her Meetups Founder Shawntelle Minear explained that the partnership is helpful for mothers, who typically lead busy lives and can struggle to find the time for things like automotive maintenance. Making such a necessary service more accessible for its members adds to the supportive nature of Her Meetups events.
“Many moms experience a lot of 'mom guilt' when doing things for themselves,” said Minear. “With the seemingly endless list of to-dos, being able to have a guilt-free moment for herself is so special.”
