Unanimous approval was granted for the new Valvoline location, along with a Chipotle Mexican Grill that will be opening up alongside it.

Plans for a new Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Anderson, Indiana, have been approved, reports AOL.

The Anderson Plan Commission gave unanimous approval for the new Valvoline location, along with a Chipotle Mexican Grill that will be opening up alongside it in the 5800 block of Scatterfield Road.

According to the Anderson Municipal Development Department’s Assistant Director, Tim Stires, having the plans approved was the final step the store needed before being able to proceed.

The location was the site of a Steak 'N Shake restaurant, until recently, when the store made plans to relocate. There was much collaboration as plans for the Valvoline and Chipotle were being developed.

“We worked with the staff on the easements to make sure the two developments could take place,” said Steve Servies of Servies Surveying and Engineering.
