A developer in Janesville, Wisconsin, has submitted plans to construct a new Valvoline Instant Oil Change location.

The new store would be located at 1950 Humes Road between a Carquest and Dollar Tree store, according to WCLO Janesville.

Equipped with three drive-thru service bays, the new facility is expected to measure 2,000 square feet when constructed.

Senior Planner Brian Schweigl said that a conditional use permit was required due to the business’ drive-thru services. The Janesville Plan Commission made the condition a requirement in 2007 after a Walmart previously at the location was redeveloped into the current multi-tenant space that exists today.

A public hearing for the proposed project will be held at the upcoming Janesville Plan Commission meeting on May 6.
