The nine-month Leadership Development Program aims to equip participants with the skills needed for leadership in the company.

North Carolina’s Chapel Hill Tire has launched a Leadership Development Program to help train its next generation of managers and supervisors, according to a press release.

Developed under the guidance of L2 Manager Stephen Hall, the nine-month program aims to equip participants with the skills needed for leadership, teaching them how to promote productivity, manage time, and strategies for managing a workforce.

Over the program’s nine-month run, participants will meet twice a month for one full-day session and a 1-2 hour follow-up, led by various members of Chapel Hill’s management team. In between sessions, participants will be assigned homework and checklists requiring hands-on work.

Accountability partners will be assigned within the group to promote a supportive and encouraging environment, and participants will also have the opportunity to swap roles with team members from different stores and serve as acting managers for two weeks.

The program ends with a celebratory graduation ceremony, which features presentations from each attendee on what they gained from the course.

Chapel Hill’s first class has already commenced, hosting a group of seven individuals.

“This program represents an investment in the future of our company, empowering our team members to reach their full potential and lead with confidence,” said Chapel Hill Tire President Marc Pons.
