Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is launching its annual fundraiser for Children’s of Alabama hospital, reports the Calhoun Journal.
Throughout the month of April, for each service performed at any Express Oil Change location in Alabama, $1 will be donated to Children’s of Alabama as part of the company’s annual “Changing Oil, Changing Lives” initiative.
Since first launching the campaign in 2008, Express Oil Change has amassed over $1 million for the free-standing pediatric medical institution and has become a strong advocate for the Children’s Art and Expressive Therapy Program.
“Through our partnership, they have helped Children’s provide a creative outlet for our young patients that helps reduce stress and anxiety and promotes emotional well-being while they are in the hospital,” said Chief Development Officer at Children’s of Alabama, Chandler Bibb.
