The awards recognize companies and individuals who have shown the best examples of ACES and PIES data standards use and compliance.

The Automotive Content Professionals Network recently announced the winners of its 2024 Content Excellence Awards at the Auto Care Connect conference in Chicago, according to a press release.

The awards are meant to recognize companies and individuals in the aftermarket industry who have shown the best examples of ACES and PIES data standards use and compliance, as well as electronic cataloging and content in business-to-consumer platforms.

The Year, Make, Model segment of the ACES and PIES Data Award analyzes how ACES and PIES data is used for ACES XML files that only utilize year, make, model applications (BaseVehicleID). Winning gold in the small category (10-50K applications) was MagnaFlow Exhaust Products; gold in the medium category (50k-250k applications) went to Winhere Brake Parts, Inc.; and winning gold in the large category (over 250K applications) was NTN Bearing Corporation.

The next ACES and PIES Data Award focuses on manufacturer and equipment model applications as opposed to year, make, and model. Winning gold in this category was Old World Industries.

The next award, Web-Based Catalog, recognizes catalog application lookups that are purely browser-based, with this year’s winner being Dorman Products, Inc.

The Trailblazer Award goes to an individual who’s made remarkable contributions to ACPN and content management communities, and is presented by the Technology Standards Committee alongside ACPN Leadership Council. Doreen Slayter of ACP was named this year’s Trailblazer Award winner.

The Receiver’s Choice Award goes to organizations that provide high-quality content that includes ACES, PIES, and digital assets, with the winners being selected by content receivers who support ACPN.

Advance Auto Parts and AutoZone, Inc. both presented an award to Dorman Products, Inc.; Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance awarded Baldwin Filters; Epicor Software Corporation awarded MotoRad; O'Reilly Auto Parts awarded DMA Industries, LLC.; PartsTech, Inc. awarded Cardone Industries, Inc.; and WHI Solutions awarded Winhere Brake Parts, Inc.
