Ohio Take 5 Oil Change Stores Targeted by Burglary; Suspect Arrested

Haydon Mitchell, who had worked for Take 5 himself, is accused of breaking into two Take 5 stores in Toledo.

A man in Toledo, Ohio, was recently arrested on charges of breaking into multiple Take 5 Oil Change stores and stealing money, reports 13 Action News.

Haydon Mitchell, who had worked for Take 5 himself, is accused of breaking into a Take 5 store in Toledo on Douglas Road on Aug. 8, Aug. 11, and Aug. 12. He also allegedly broke into a store on Secor Road on Aug. 12.

On Aug. 8, court documents allege Mitchell broke glass to enter the store before taking $1,000 from the safe. On Aug. 11, he’s accused of retrieving a key to the safe before taking $500. The next day, Aug. 12, he allegedly then slammed a safe on the ground to obtain money. Mitchell has been identified as the suspect based on surveillance video captured.

Charges Mitchell currently faces include six counts of breaking and entering, six counts of safecracking, and one count of theft.
