Employee at Ohio Take 5 Oil Change Targeted by Burglar in Shop
An employee at a Take 5 Oil Change in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, was recently targeted by a burglar, reports Cleveland.com.
On Oct. 3 at 8:15 p.m., a man walked into the store through an open bay door, while an employee was alone doing paperwork in the office. The employee was grabbed by the hood of his sweatshirt, and the suspect demanded to see where the store’s safe and money was kept.
The employee replied that the money had been taken away at closing, and the suspect then asked the employee if he had any money on him before reaching into his pocket and taking $50.
The burglar did not show a weapon or say he had one, but made the employee lie face-down as he exited the facility. Police took DNA evidence from the sweatshirt hood as evidence and are searching for the perpetrator.
