Louisiana Man Arrested After Take 5 Oil Change Stores Robbed Repeatedly
A man was arrested for allegedly stealing from two Take 5 Oil Change stores multiple times in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, reports WBRZ.
An arrest warrant stated that 20-year-old Dontae Madden robbed the Take 5 store on Essen Lane on Jan. 1, Feb. 15, and April 26. Another store has also accused Madden of robbing from them: the Take 5 on West Lee Drive, which alleged he burglarized there on Aug. 6 and Oct. 7.
When police questioned Madden, he told them there were two cash drawers from the Take 5 being held in his vehicle’s trunk. Police also found gloves, burglary tools, and 2.3 grams of marijuana in the vehicle.
The string of burglaries comes in the midst of another Take 5 Oil Change in Baton Rouge that was recently targeted by an unsuccessful thief, which appears to be unrelated.
