SUV Breaks Out in Flames During Car Wash at Florida Jiffy Lube

An SUV at a Jiffy Lube in Fort Myers, Florida, recently broke out in flames, reports NBC Palm Springs.

The incident occurred within a car wash station attached to the Jiffy Lube, located on San Carlos Boulevard in the Iona area.

Nearby walls sustained minor damage, but the rest of the building suffered no structural damage, according to the Iona Fire Department. The fire was contained quickly, and no injuries were reported.

While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, early assessments have suggested it originated from within the SUV.

The Jiffy Lube temporarily suspended its operations during the cleanup, but has since resumed business.
