West Virginia Auto Shop Offering Oil Changes to Benefit Toys for Tots
An auto service business in Bluewell, West Virginia, has seen massive success with its Toys for Tots donation drive this month, reports WVVA News.
King’s Tire Service’s store manager Trena Shinault begins planning for the donation drive as early as May, and holds other events throughout the year as well. Earlier this year, the shop hosted a raffle benefiting Toys for Tots, along with a car show recently held in September.
Anyone who brings a $20 donation or $20 worth of toys is being provided with oil changes by King’s Tire Service. The business is collecting donations through November, but has already garnered a room full of toys.
“Without the community, we couldn’t do this,” said Shinault. “The community is such a big part in this area. We have the best customers. You know, a lot of the people that come in here donate more than the $20 that we’re asking for.”
