MAHLE Appoints New GM of Automotive Aftermarket North America Division

MAHLE recently elevated Christian Karner to the role of general manager of its Automotive Aftermarket North America division, according to a media report. Karner, who started with the company in August 2025, confirmed the move in a LinkedIn post on Jan. 6.

Prior to joining MAHLE as head of Commercial-Lifecycle and Mobility North America in August, Karner worked as a consultant with Brand Edge Analytics. He has also served in executive roles with Gates Corporation and MANN+HUMMEL.

Based in Stuttgart, Germany, MAHLE is an international development partner and supplier to the automotive industry with customers in the passenger car and commercial vehicle sectors. The company’s North American operations are based in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
