Approval has been granted for a Take 5 Oil Change store to open in Ceres, California, reports The Ceres Courier.

The shop will be located within the site of a former Walmart, which has been split up into seven parcels, ranging in size from 16,288 square feet to 438,790 square feet.

The Take 5 will be located next to the south side of the Professional Auto Stereo and Security store building, which is at the corner in its own parcel along with a McDonald’s, and is not part of the project.

With a Conditional Use Permit granted from the Ceres Planning Commission, a new 1,400-square-foot building will be built for the Take 5. It will come with three queueing lanes of at least 60 feet in length, with a capacity for nine vehicles total. A bay for holding one vehicle will also be added, with a total of four parked vehicles. The building will feature frosted glass inserts in the roll-up doors to its service bay, as noted by Planning Consultant Lea Simvoulakis.

“They expect about 45 vehicles a day per site, um, and this is based on data gathered from their other stores,” said Simvoulakis.
