RelaDyne Acquires OilRed, Names Vice President of Commercial Operations & Strategy
RelaDyne has named a new vice president of commercial operations & strategy as it expands its operations into Colombia, as shared in a recent press release.
The company announced Joey Blackburn as its newest vice president, commercial operations & strategy in a LinkedIn post. Blackburn will help drive commercial strategy and operational alignment for RelaDyne.
The news came just before RelaDyne shared it has acquired OilRed, a Chevron lubricants distributor and provider of technical solutions serving automotive, commercial, and industrial customers in authorized territories in Colombia.
The acquisition has expanded RelaDyne’s Latin American platform into Colombia, one of the region’s most important and attractive lubricants markets, while broadening the reach of Grupo Lucalza, RelaDyne’s Latin American division.
Founded in 2014, OilRed serves customers in authorized territories in Colombia with lubricants, greases, coolants, and value-added lubrication programs designed to improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, and support operational reliability.
OilRed’s current management team will remain in place to lead day-to-day operations, and the company will work closely with Grupo Lucalza to accelerate its next phase of growth within the assigned territories in Colombia.
“The RelaDyne team is thrilled to welcome OilRed to the RelaDyne family,” said Eric Royse, chief executive officer of RelaDyne. “This acquisition provides an outstanding platform for continued growth, combining deep local market knowledge with a talented management team. Together with Grupo Lucalza, we see significant opportunity to expand our geographic reach, enhance our technical offering, and create additional value for customers across automotive, commercial, and industrial end markets.”
