Lucas Oil Center Raises $7K for Woman Battling Breast Cancer

Dec. 12, 2022—Lucas Oil Center raised $7,000 during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, according to a blog post on the Lucas Oil Center website. 

Money was raised through three fundraiser events in Indiana: Give Back Day at Lucas Oil Center East and West in Evansville, a haunted car wash at Evansville East and a donation collected at the Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt. The recipient of this year's fundraiser was Angie Fields, a local resident from Evansville. 

Fields was diagnosed with Stage 1 estrogen receptor (ER) positive breast cancer in March of 2022. The $7,000 raised by Lucas Oil Center has been given to Fields and her family to help fund her ongoing cancer treatment.
