When Bob Mattliano of Shore Point Auto in Brick, New Jersey had to choose his "Choice of Champions" grand price at the MAHLE Aftermarket booth at AAPEX, he opted for the 2006 MAHLE Corvette Z06.
The Corvette, which is a 1000 HP Z06 Corvette, was built by Richard Petty and the technicians at Petty’s Garage, was one of two vehicles Mattliano had to choose from. The other was a Jeep Gladiator, built by Casey Currie and CRC.
“It’s been awesome teaming up with Casey Currie and Richard Petty to engineer these one-of-a-kind vehicles,” said Jon Douglas, president, of MAHLE Aftermarket North America. “The technicians from both organizations truly ‘pulled out all the stops’ to design and customize these incredible vehicles with our components."
The 2023 Automotive Aftermarket Expo began on October 31 and runs through November 2 at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
