Valvoline Instant Oil Change Franchisee Eyes Expansion in Northeast Florida

One of Valvoline Instant Oil Change’s largest franchisees is looking to expand in Northeast Florida, reports The Jacksonville Business Journal.

First established in 2001, Quality Automotive Services, Inc. is Valvoline’s second-largest franchisee. The Charlotte, North Carolina, based company operates more than 200 Valvoline stores throughout 13 states.

Quality Automotive currently has three franchises in the permitting process, all located within the south end of Jacksonville, Florida, where there has yet to be a single Valvoline location within its 750 square mile span.

Jacksonville and Duval County are of interest to Quality Automotive due to the area’s growth and high number of suburban drivers.

“The alternative is a dealership, and that's anywhere probably closer to a four-hour endeavor. Or a tire or a full-service shop, but it's going to be a lot more time and money. We’re looking for people who value their time and money,” said Joel Stanley, vice president of marketing for Quality Automotive.
