Take 5 Appoints New Senior VP of Franchise

Take 5 Oil Change has appointed Phil Hoblet as its next senior vice president of franchise, according to a report published Wednesday by Franchising.com.

For the past six years, Hoblet has worked for Take 5’s parent company, Driven Brands, most recently as senior vice president of category management. In that role, Hoblet was credited for navigating supply chain disruptions during the COVID-19 pandemic, streamlining procurement processes, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.

In a statement, Take 5 Oil Change Tim Austin cited Hoblet’s ability to navigate challenges, support teams, and build scalable systems as reasons for him being chosen for the role.

In his new position with Take 5, Hoblet will support current franchisees and onboard new owners. He will also oversee franchise strategy, owner support, and systemwide consistency, according to the Franchising.com report.
