North Dakota Valvoline Instant Oil Change Holding Monthly Fundraiser for Local Charities

    A Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Minot, North Dakota, is hosting a monthly fundraising event to benefit a new local charity each month, reports KX News.

    The store’s Drive to Donate campaign takes place on the second Wednesday of every month, where $20 from each oil change is donated to a local charity.

    This is the second month of the initiative, with donations this past Wednesday going to Souris Valley United Way. The shop hopes to see other locations take part as well, with stores in Bismarck, North Dakota, having already joined.

    “We were trying to find a way because we are a local business, so we were trying to find a way to connect with the communities that we’re located in, and we came up with this kind of dine to donate idea, but drive to donate,” told Marketing Intern Berkley Lundeen.
