A Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Fargo, North Dakota, recently held a fundraiser to benefit a local nonprofit helping children in need.

According to a report from InForum, the event took place on July 9 at the shop on 53rd Avenue South. For every oil change completed, $20 was donated to a local nonprofit called Spread Your Sunshine.

Spread Your Sunshine supports children going through difficult times through events and outings that create happy memories.

The initiative comes after a Valvoline store in Minot, North Dakota, first came up with the Drive to Donate concept. That store has done monthly fundraisers, and has been campaigning for other shops in the state to join as well.
